The Department of Geriatric Rehabilitation offers comprehensive rehabilitative services. This includes services for conditions requiring diagnosis, active medical therapy or rehabilitation. Our goal is to help patients whose functionality is limited by disease, disability, or trauma achieve independence. Our department has developed innovative approaches towards this end. Our department has also provided consultation in legislative initiatives aimed to help the handicapped.
The department diagnoses, treats and rehabilitates patients suffering from diverse neurological conditions (brain, spinal cord, nerve, neuromuscular junction and muscular diseases), orthopedic disorders, reconstructive surgery cases, rheumatological conditions, amputations, burns and lower back pain and general pain syndromes.
