As part of the medical training the department provides, the department established a clinical fellowship program for laparoscopic surgery, which provides a comprehensive laparoscopic training program. This program is one year long and is unique in the field of Israeli surgery.
The department has been improving its productivity continuously over the last years with a steady increase in the number of admissions and bed occupancy, a reduction in hospital stay and a significant increase in the number and complexity of operative procedures performed.
