The Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School trains doctors who, upon graduating, will have acquired the knowledge, skills and professionalism enabling them to provide compassionate care, practice excellent clinical medicine and demonstrate competence in medical research. We encourage our graduates to integrate into medical environments that combine clinical practice alongside teaching and research. We also encourage our students to become partners in the development and management of medical systems at both the institutional and national levels.
The aim of clinical studies is to provide students with medical knowledge, clinical skills, ethical values in patient-doctor and doctor-society relations. Medicine is a continuously evolving field, with new skills, practices and research often coming to light. Our program cannot hope to teach every practice nor relay every bit of information. Therefore, our program is designed to provide skills for individual, integrative, and critical study.
