Synopsis
Prof. Vivian Barak, Ph.D in Immunology at the Hebrew University, 1983. Since 1985 she is Head of Immunology & Tumor Diagnosis Lab at the Oncology Department of Hadassah Medical Center. Since 2005 she is also an Associate Professor in Oncology at the Hebrew University. She is Head, Israeli Standardization Lab of TUMOR MARKERS and Cytokines,known as an expert in validation studies of Biomarkers and of Immune status of Cancer patients, also a Senior Consultant.  • She holds functions in known  ISRAELI UNIVERSITIES as  : Member of the Central Admitting Committee to Medical Schools, Reviewer of MSc, MA and PhD Studies, Awards, Grants and a Member of the Steering Committee for Teaching Laboratories.  • Prof. Barak is a member of Editorial Board of International Journals, and holds positions in International  Societies, as President of ISOBM and Board member of EGTM. •  Her experience includes Presidential positions at 4 International  Congresses, and membership at more than 30 Scientific Committees of International  Conferences. She is now member of 13 Scientific Societies. Her list of publications includes256   papers in International Journals and 16 in Israeli Journals.
