The Radiotherapy Unit is part of the Sharett Institute of Oncology. The unit conducts a wide range of radiation treatments designated for different kinds of cancer. Constant development and research enables the unit to offer advanced and innovative treatments, such as conformal three-dimensional therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, IMRT, and high dose rate brachytherapy.
Our equipment includes three linear accelerators, two simulators, a treatment planning system, a high dose rate brachytherapy machine, and a radiosurgery system. A computerized system monitoring all treatments administered assures the quality of the treatment.
Our multidisciplinary team consists of physicians, radiation technicians, physicists, secretaries, nurses and equipment support personnel, all working together to provide the best care, for the best possible healing and reduction of side effects.
Additionally, our unit can provide para-medical services if needed.
