Ophthalmic Imaging

The Imaging Unit of the Department of Ophthalmology enables ophthalmologists to conduct clinical tests while employing the use of advanced imaging technology. These tests include:

  • Slit lamps to test the anterior segment of the eye
  • Wide-Field Camera for the posterior segment of the eye
  • Angiography of the retina with ICG
  • CT scan of the retina – OCT
  • Corneal CT scan
  • Filming surgery to study later
  • Imaging corneal endothelial cells through a confocal microscope

The unit also houses a large archive of images and videos that were taken over the years in our clinics and operating rooms.
