Ambulatory Services

Oncology treatment in the 21st century is mostly ambulatory, and does not require hospitalization in most cases. Our medical team is proficient in providing the very best and newest treatment methods to all of our patients. We work hard to create a professional, supportive and warm setting for all patients who come through our department.

Our unit provides chemotherapy treatments for cancer patients. The length of each round of treatment can vary from a few minutes to a few hours. We also offer treatments that can be continued at home with the help of an 'infuser'.

In addition to chemotherapy treatments, the unit provides a wide variety of services to pur patients, including IV drips, blood transfusions and symptomatic treatments. Our cancer patients in need of immediate assistance can come directly to our department without scheduling an appointment. We will provide first-aid assistance and help determine continuation of treatment.
