Metropolitan Center for the Early Detection of Colorectal Cancer

Metropolitan Center for the Early Detection of Colorectal Cancer

The Metropolitan Center for the Early Detection of Colorectal Cancer provides screening services for colorectal cancer for the general population. The center is a joint project between the Service of Gastroenterology at Hadassah and the Jerusalem Municipality.

Our center aims to provide comprehensive information about colorectal cancer to the general population. We perform screening tests, such as fecal occult blood in stool and sigmoidoscopies among the average risk population. Our center has been developing a database and promoting clinical studies.

Through our research, we have been able to determine a screening protocol for the detection of colorectal cancer.
