Inpatient department

The Inpatient department has 47 beds. The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Intensive Care have eight beds collectively.

The department's senior staff includes experts with experience in gastroenterology and liver disease, hypertension, hematology, rheumatology, cardiology and atherosclerosis, emergency medicine and infectious diseases. The Department handles a variety of complex patients in collaboration with various disciplines such as the neurology and hematology units at Mount Scopus, the Dialysis Institute and the cardiac rehabilitation institute in Riklis House, and specialization courses at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

The Department is committed and dedicated to treating and improving the health of older patients and adults.

Department physicians are working in collaboration with physicians from various departments of Mount Scopus Hospital and medical services experts of Hadassah.

The emphasis is on Clinical Excellence while relating to the patient which includes benefiting the health of patients and preventative treatment, contact with the family physician and continuous follow up in the outpatient department and the Internal inpatient wards using complex innovative diagnostic measures and medical treatment with an emphasis on ethical problems and sharing understanding and medical decisions with the patient and family.
