HADASSAH NEUROENDOCRINE TUMOR UNIT NET UNIT Center of Excellence accredited by the European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society
The Neuroendocrine Tumor Unit at Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center in Ein Kerem, Jerusalem, operates as a multi-disciplinary team to provide the best care for patients with neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).
In light of the mixed endocrine and oncological nature of these tumors, the treatment of NET patients requires a complex approach, combining the knowledge and experience of experts from different related-fields. The team includes specialists in neuroendocrinology, oncology, gastroenterology, genetics, surgery, pathology, radiology and nuclear medicine, cardiology, and more.
Unit Vision:
We strive to provide the best and advanced care to our patients, in close cooperation with experts from various fields.
We also aim to be at the forefront of clinical and basic research, by looking at a variety of innovative treatments and by understanding the complex processes that are responsible for the development of these tumors.
International Recognition as an European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (ENETS) Center of Excellence (CoE):
The ENETS has accredited our unit as a CoE, the only one in this field in Israel and the Middle East. Link to the map of ENETS CoE around the world on the ENETS website:
