For the patients to heal as quickly as possible, the need much rest, and thus patients can only be visited in the designated visitation hours.
However, when children are at the hospital they might feel anxious and need support from the family throughout the entire day. Visitation hours are for people from outside the family, such as friends and distant relatives. Usually, parents can be with their children at all times, except in special cases such as during surgery. Next to every child's bed there is an armchair which opens to a bed for the night, so the parent can also spend the night with his child. One adult must stay with the child at night. In the past, the parents were also limited in visitation, but out of understanding and the will to provide optimal assistance to the child in his healing process, we modified our rules.
In special cases, visitation rights are given to other visitors by a certified nurse in the department and these people may visit the child off-hours as well.
Visitation safety rules
Some of the diseases children have in the departments are infectious. In addition, many children might catch other diseases because of the sensitive phyiscal condition they are in. Therefore:

Anyone who comes in contact with the child mnust wash their hands after contact at all times.

It is forbidden to pass objects (for example, toys) from child to child.

It is forbidden to go with your child into other childrens' rooms.

Do not bring children under the age of 12 to visit the hospitalized child.

Morning: 12:30-13:30
Afternoon: 15:30-17:00
Evening: 19:00-20:00
Saturday: From the end of Shabbat until 22:00
