Infections are defined as situation where a harmful foreign body has entered our bodies. The infected body uses the resources in our bodies to multiply and grow, harming our body’s normal function. Our body responds to an infection by becoming inflamed. Infections can also cause chronic conditions, loss of limbs and in severe cases, these infections can be fatal.
The foreign body can be bacteria, parasites, fungi, viruses or others.
