Bone Marrow Transplantation Center

Thank you for your interest in Hadassah University Hospital's Bone Marrow Transplantation Center (BMT), Cancer Immunotherapy and Cell Therapy Center. The Center, led by Prof. Reuven Or, specializes in bone marrow derived stem cell medicine using all protocols and therapies and in investigational cancer immunotherapy. The Center also has bone marrow and cord blood donor banks with full international cover.

Approximately 150 transplantation procedures are carried out yearly for patients with hematological malignancies (e.g. various types of leukemia), solid tumors, non-malignant life-threatening diseases (including genetic and metabolic disorders), and auto-immune disorders. The treatments include autologous and allogeneic stem cells transplantation using various types of donors, with bone marrow, blood, and cord blood used as sources of stem cells. Both pediatric and adult treatments are performed combining the Center's expertise with Hadassah's excellent medical standards and competitive prices.
