A national referral center for patients
with chronic airway lung disease, or neuromuscular disease,
requiring unique therapeutic options of airway management, pulmonary
rehabilitation and/or ventilatory support, including non-invasive
pressure support or negative pressure ventilation at home or
in chronic care facilities.
At the present time, the care of these patients is poorly coordinated
in Jerusalem. The Center will be operated by the Department
of Medicine at Hadassah Ein Kerem in collaboration with the
Departments of Ear, Nose and Throat, Pediatrics and Neurology,
and the Institute of Pulmonology. |
