Eran Goldin,
MD
Dr Eran Goldin is a graduate of the Cordoba Medica School,
in Cordoba, Argentina. He arrived in Israel in 1974 and trained
in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Hadassah University
Hospital. He was also trained in Invasive Endoscopy and ERCP
at the Academic Medical Hospital of the University of Amsterdam
in 1984. He was appointed Director of the Gastroenterology
Service of the Department of Medicine, Hadassah Hospital,
in 1990. His main research interests and publications include
the impact of stress and the prevention of fibrosis in Inflammatory
Bowel Diseases, the influence of Diabetes on Gastrointestinal
disorders, studies in proctologic diseases and new advances
in digestive endoscopy, including bio-technological developments.
Dr Goldin is currently Associate Professor of Medicine at
the Hebrew University and visiting Professor at Barcelona
University. He is Chairman of the Israeli Digestive Endoscopic
Association.
