Education and Training:

Prof. Mosseri trained as resident and senior resident, in the Internal Medicine Department, Hadassah University Hospital, Mt. Scopus, Jerusalem, Israel in 1981-1984, and as a fellow in the Cardiology Department, Hadassah University Hospital, Ein-Kerem Jerusalem, Israel during 1984-1986.

Licensure and Certification:

Prof. Mosseri was licensed by the Board of Registration in Medicine, Israel in 1976, and by the Board of Registration in Medicine, Boston MA, USA in 1991. He was certificated as Cardiologist by the Board Certificate in Cardiology (Israel) since 1987.

Appointments:

Prof. Mosseri was appointed a Staff Senior Cardiologist, Cardiology Department, Hadassah University Hospital, Ein-Kerem Jerusalem, Israel in 1987.
He worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Boston, MA during between 8/1989-8/1991.

He has been Co-Director of the Catheterization and Inpatient Cardiology Units. Hadassah University Hospital, Ein-Kerem since 1987.
Prof. Mosseri is the Director of Catherization Laboratories since 2000.
From 1.10.2000 he is the Chair of the Internal Medicine Section, the Medical School, the Hebrew University and Hadassah.
Prof. Mosseri was the Deputy-Editor of Cardiology Update Journal between 1995-1997.
Since 1997 he is the Editor of the Journal of the Israel Heart Society.

Research Awards & Honors:

1987 The Joint Research Fund of the Hebrew University and Hadassah. Research Project: Morphometry of the coronary small vessels in patients with angina pectoris and patent large coronary arteries.
1988 The Wolfson Research Fund of the Hebrew University. Research Project: Densitometry of the left ventricle for quantitative image analysis of cineangiographic films.
1989 The Neufeld Award of the Israel Cardiology Society for the Best Research. Research subject: Electrocardiographic manifestations of combined hypercalcemia and hypermagnesemia in the Dead Sea near drowning patients.
1993 The Elizabeth Greibach Cardiology Research Award of the Keren Kayemet Le-Israel. Research subject: Vascular reactivity of blood vessels used for CABG.
2000 Landsberg , Mosseri M.. The Berman Foundation. The pathophysiology of myocardial injury and cardiac mortality in critically ill patients in the non-coronary ICU.
