The electrophysiology unit is located mainly on Mount Scopus. It is very active, servicing Jerusalem and the surrounding area. It accepts referrals from other hospitals in Israel, and overseas.

The patient is first seen in the clinic, and then returns for special electrophysiological tests which determine the nature of the arrhythmia.

The unit carries out electrophysiological studies of complex arrhythmias and ablations of abnormal pathways. Our results have been very successful, and in most cases a complete cure has been achieved. In addition, the unit implants state-of-the-art pacemakers into patients who faint or have slow heart rates, and defibrillators in patients who have been resuscitated.
