At 9:30AM this morning, Prof. Mor-Yosef made the following statement to the media:
"After 7 hours in the operating room, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's surgery was completed a few minutes ago. A C.T scan showed that the bleeding in his brain stopped.
PM Sharon is taken now to the Neurosurgery intensive care unit where he will stay for monitoring, observation and further treatment. His vital signs are stable however his condition is still considered to be severe. PM Sharon is anesthesized and intubated".
