INTRODUCTION

Research in the Department of Endodontics focuses on the factors influencing the success and failure of root canal therapy. Specific topics under studyinclude the effects of lasers on the tooth hard tissues and the root canal system, morphology and anatomy of endodontically prepared teeth: the use of intra-canal medications and the use of apex locators in endodontics.
