עיקר עיסוקו של פרופ' אריאל רבל בתחום טיפולי פוריות רפואיים וכירורגיים. עובד בצוות היחידה להפריה חוץ גופית (IVF). כמו כן מרכז טיפול בנושאי שחלות פוליציסטיות PCO)) וכן שיטות לשימור פוריות בחולות סרטן ( הקפאה והשתלת שחלה). פרופ' אריאל רבל הוא מומחה בהיסטרוסקופיה אבחנתית וניתוחית ולפרוסקופיות ניתוחיות בייחוד בהקשר לפוריות ואנדומטריוזיס. מתעניין בפיתוח שיטות זעיר פולשניות בגינקולוגיה.
