דר רונן לקר הוא מנהל השירות למחלות כלי דם מוחיים, שבץ ודימום מוחי,  ומנהל המעבדה לחקר מחלות כלי דם של המוח בהדסה.

 

דר' לקר מתמחה בטיפול ובמניעה של אירועים מוחיים כגון שבץ איסכמי (stroke, CVA), דימום מוחי וכו'.

 

דר' לקר הוא בוגר ביה"ס לרפואה של האוניברסיטה העברית והדסה ומומחה בנוירולוגיה בביה"ח האוניברסיטאי הדסה עין כרם.

 

דר' לקר עבר השתלמות בת 3 שנים במכוני המחקר הלאומיים של ארה"ב בבתסדה מרילנד שם עבד כמדען מן השורה והתמחה בשימוש בתאי גזע כטיפול בשבץ מוחי. דר' לקר פרסם מאמרים רבים ופרקים בספרי רפואה בנושא שבץ מוחי וזכה בפרסים ומלגות מחקר רבות.
