1996 - A research grant ($19000 ), founded by Merck Pharmaceuticles through Associate of R&D founded by Riesel LTD. Principle investigators: Prof. I. Binderman and Prof. A. Yaffe. On: Topical treatment with Alendronate to prevent bone resorption.

1998 - A research grant (60000) NIS per year for two years, by the Ministry of Health of The State of Israel on: The use of Alendronate (Bisphosphonate) to reduce bone resorption following mucoperiosteal flap.

1999 - A research grant (60000) NIS second year, by the Ministry of Health The State of Israel. On: The use of Alendronate (Bisphosphonate) to reduce bone resorption following mucoperiosteal flap.

Patent - Joint invention with Prof. I. Binderman of the patent entitled ” Topical bisphosphonate for prevention of bone resorption” assigned to Merck Pharmaceuticles.
