Born in Petah-Tykva, Israel, 1966.

Married, three children.

 

Education

 

1978 – 1984  The International School of Amsterdam, Holland. Junior high and High school – International Baccalaureate with honors.

 

1985 - 1988  Israeli Army as a combat medic and medic instructor. (Currently a Major in the Israeli Army Medical Corps Reserve).

 

1988 – 1989  Hebrew University – Political Science and International Relations.

 

1989 – 1995  Tel Aviv University The Sackler School of Medicine.

M.D. Thesis:  Recombinant von Willebrand factor fragments as inhibitors of platelet aggregation and adjuvants to thrombolysis.

The position entails lectures and clinical instruction of medical students and residents in lecture halls, the ward, outpatient clinic and the operating room.

2001 - Genetics of nonsyndromic hearing loss.  The research is performed in conjunction with Prof. Karen Avraham from the Dept. of Human Genetics and Molecular Medicine at the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University.
