Dr. Eisenstein studied medicine at the University of Wisconsin, and completed his residency training in pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. He then went on to serve as a Clinical Associate in the Mucosal Immunity Section of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. During his fellowship he was recognized as an outstanding young investigator by the U.S. Clinical Immunology Society. In 1994 Dr Eisenstein made Aliya, and since then has been an attending physician in the Department of Pediatrics at Hadassah Medical Center, Mount Scopus. From 2006-2008, he worked as a visiting physician at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
He is Board Certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Rheumatology, and Allergy and Clinical Immunology in the USA, and certified by the Scientific Council of the Israel Medical Association as a specialist in Pediatrics, Allergy, and Clinical Immunology
