The department provides conservative and surgical diagnosis and treatment, including microsurgery, in the following fields:
§ External and middle ear diseases;
§ Eardrum reconstruction;
§ Hearing restoration (otosclerosis surgery, including laser surgery);
§ Inner ear diseases (hearing loss and dizziness);
§ Otoneurological surgery (facial nerve paralysis, removing tumors);
§ Cochlear implants for the deaf;
§ Treatment of auditory and vocal disorders;
§ Endoscopy of the respiratory and digestive systems to remove foreign objects;
§ Respiratory laser surgery;
§ Surgery to correct apnea and snoring,
§ Surgery to correct swallowing difficulties;
§ All types of nasal (functional and aesthetic) and sinus surgery, including endoscopy with laser surgery; removal of head/neck tumors (including tumors of the thyroid and salivary glands), and tumors at the base of the skull.
