§ Payment voucher from the health fund or other institution, or payment for hospitalization
§ Confirmation of a blood donation by the Hadassah Blood Bank (if required)
§ Identification document
§ Letter from referring doctor (if necessary)
§ Any other medical documents in your possession, including X-rays.
Personal items:
§ It is a good idea to bring personal items not provided by the hospital, such as: toiletries – toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, shaving equipment; perfume, slippers and robe. Nevertheless, when admitted to the hospital you will be given basic items for your personal use, such as towel, soap, pajama and sheets.
§ If you prefer a particular type of soap, or wish to wear your own pajamas, by all means bring them with you.
§ Dentures – if needed, and in order not to lose them, you will be given a special container to keep them in. The hospital management is not responsible for dentures that get lost!
§ Bring a container or box to keep personal effects such as eyeglasses, watch, etc.
§ It is recommended not to bring valuables to the hospital, such as jewelry, personal items of sentimental value or documents that are not required while you are in hospital. On admission, these items can be given to family members for safekeeping.
Please note!
The hospital is not responsible for damage, loss or theft of patients’ personal items, including items of value, clothing, toiletries, prostheses of various kinds, etc.
In special cases, where there is no other option, valuables can be deposited at the patient admissions office.
Hospitalized patients are requested not to bring mobile phones of any kind. The use of mobile phones in the wards is prohibited, so as not to disrupt the operation of medical equipment. A telephone and television rental service is available.
Adults or children who need disposable diapers are requested to equip themselves with these items when admitted to the hospital.
Please do not bring medications with you unless required by the medical staff.
