Vascular Reconstructive Procedures

 

 

A wide range of vascular reconstructive procedures are performed, including:

 

(1). Endarterectomy of the carotid arteries and replacement of the internal carotid artery with autologous and synthetic grafts.

 

(2). Repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms and thoracoabdominal aneurysms.

 

(3). Repair of peripherial aneurysms (femoral, popliteal  and subclavian art’s).

 

(4). Endovascular aortic aneurysms repair (evar) of infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysms and aneurysms of the descending thoracic aorta.

 

(5). Aorto-iliac and aortofemoral bypass for aorto-iliac-occlusive-disease.

 

(6). Femoro-popliteal and femoro-tibial bypass for lower limb ischaemia.

 

(7). Aorto-mesenteric bypass (celiac art. And superior mesenteric art.) For intestinal ischemia.

 

(8). Portocaval, mesocaval and splenorenal shunts for portal hypertension.

 

(9). Vascular access for dialysis patients and peritoneal dialysis for ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease).

 

(10). Decompression surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS).

 

(11). Removal of primary vascular tumors and invasive vascular tumors.

 

(12). Reconstruction of vascular injuries (perforating, blunt  trauma and iatrogenic vascular injuries).

 

(13). Thrombolytic therapy of occluded vessels.

 

(14). Thoracic and lumbar sympathectomies for Buerger’s disease, Hyperhidrosis and Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD).
