The Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory

The Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory of the department, serves all medical wards of both Ein Kerem and Mount Scopus Hadassah Hospitals.   It also serves many ambulatory patients referred from other hospitals and infirmaries in Jerusalem and all over the country. 

Activities of the laboratory include:

·         Diagnosis of peripheral  arterial occlusive disease

·         Diagnosis of extracranial cerebrovascular disease

·         Diagnosis of peripheral venous disease and arterio-venous malformations

The patients in the department of vascular surgery are managed in close cooperation with the team of the Interventional Radiology Unit of the hospital.

Examinations are performed by the state of the art methods of modern vascular surgery : Diagnostic angiography, Spiral CT and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
