Registration and Acceptance of

Graduate Students

 

1. Completed application forms for the Orthodontic Graduate Course must be submitted no later than the end of August 2011. The application form can be found/downloaded here from the "Specialization Programs" .

2. The Selection Committee will accept seven  dentists for the course, on the basis of material submitted by the candidates, the entrance examination and the interview (when these have been conducted).

3. The Committee will make its decision as early as possible.

4. The next graduate course will commence in March 2012, in accordance with details that will be issued to the successful candidates.

5. A dentist (graduate student) who has been accepted for the course but whose subsequent standard and progress, in either clinical or theoretical studies, do not meet with the satisfaction of the teaching staff, will be required to leave.

6. Each graduate student, upon acceptance to the course, will be required to make application to the Israel Dental Association for provision of a Specialty Requirement Booklet. Where some of the requirements of the law have been fulfilled prior to this application, the graduate student must make application to the Scientific Committee of the Israel Dental Association for recognition and exemption. It is the responsibility of the graduate to obtain appropriate signatures following the completion of each stage of the requirements.

7. The course of clinical study carries a tuition fee, amount to be announced, to be paid to the Hadassah Medical Association. This sum may change without further announcement. For details of study towards the Master Degree - see the relevant paragraph.
