Bring all documents, radiographs and tests relevant to the consultation. Pay particular attention to the following:
1. Patients with any type of medical problem: Provide letters from the doctor/s treating you that describe your medical history and the drugs that you are taking for treatment (your kupat cholim drug card is good). If you have been hospitalized obtain a copy of the discharge letter. Results of tests (blood, biopsy etc) should also be available.
2. If you have previous radiographs of your teeth, jaws or other relevant dental information bring them with you.
3. Where relevant (e.g. pain clinic) CT scans, MRIs and any other imaging results should be on hand.
4. If you are not fluent in Hebrew it may be an idea to have someone accompany you.
5. Patients that are undergoing sedation or general anesthesia need an accompanying adult.
6. Patients under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult who is legally considered as a guardian.
7. Financial arrangements: Some of the special (non dental) clinics are recognized by the kupot cholim and under certain circumstances you may obtain an "hitchayvut" that covers the consultation fee. All dental treatment needs to be paid for at the time of treatment.
