The inpatient department of Medicine A is part of the Department of Medicine.
The majority of the patients are admitted through the Emergency Medicine Department. Other patients are admitted through the outpatient clinics according to the expertise of the attending physicians.
Research Interests:
§ Immunemodulation via induction of oral tolerance in the presence of pre-existing immunity.
§ The role of liver-associated lymphocytes in immunemodulation.
§ Gene therapy using recombinant adenovirus vectors.
§ Adoptive transfer of immunity towards viral antigens for suppression of viral-associated tumors of the liver
