Jack Kay of Washington, DC, with his wife Ina until her death in 2002, have left their mark on the Washington, DC, landscape, as well as on Hadassah-Mount Scopus.
The 650-seat Ina & Jack Kay Theater at the Clarice Smith Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Maryland, the Ina & Jack Kay Community Hall at the DC Jewish Community Center and the Ina & Jack Kay Group Home that enhances independence and quality of life for adults with disabilities are three brick-and-mortar examples.
The Ina & Jack Kay Jewish Living Fund, which inspires maintenance funds for all the Jewish Fund Group Homes and the Kays’ support of the JFGH’s Scholarship Fund Gala are further illustration of their intense community involvement.
