The Electrophysiology Unit is located mainly at Hadassah-Mount Scopus, serving Jerusalem and the surrounding area and receiving referrals from other hospitals in Israel and from overseas.

The unit carries out electrophysiological studies of complex arrhythmias and ablations of abnormal pathways. After patients are seen in the clinic, they return for special electrophysiological tests that determine the nature of the arrhythmia. The results have been very successful and in most cases a complete cure has been achieved.

In addition, the unit implants state-of-the-art pacemakers into patients who faint or have slow heart rates, and defibrillators in patients who have been resuscitated.
