The Master's level program in Occupational Therapy, the first such program to be offered in Israel, was introduced in 1990 as a tract of the Medical Sciences Department of Hebrew University. Two separate graduate programs are offered, both earning the student a Masters of Science degree (MSc.).

The first program includes two years of enhanced study of occupational therapy and occupational science as well as the presentation of a research thesis and is offered to students holding a bachelor's degree in various disciplines.

The second program is offered only to individuals who hold a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy. This program of advanced courses in occupational therapy and occupational science enables occupational therapists to specialize in one of three areas – pediatrics, technology or cognitive rehabilitation.

In addition to courses offered at the School of Occupational Therapy, students in the Master's level program may register for courses in other disciplines at Hebrew University, encouraging the integration of occupational therapy principles with those of complementary fields.

Through their research, graduates of the Masters program of the School of Occupational Therapy of Hadassah and the Hebrew University have made significant theoretical and clinical contributions to the profession, both within Israel and around the world.
