Damage to the pelvic floor is very common, and it is known to occur in over 50 percent of women, with rising prevalence as they get older. Such problems greatly damage women’s functioning, even causing them to stop working outside the home, avoid social activities and have problems with intimacy.
Urogynecology is a relatively new field that grew out of gynecology. After years of familiarity with it, I aimed at promoting solutions for women with urine leakage, from the moment of diagnosis until the medical solution is found. This helps women regain control over their lives in a reasonable time.
