When women, who's bodies cannot carry a pregnancy, have active ovaries, they can be helped via surrogacy, in which an embryo is created from the ovum of one woman, undergoes in-vitro fertilization with sperm from the would-be father and is implanted in the normal womb of another woman who carries the fetus through delivery.
