The new Hadassah Auditorium was opened in the Ein Kerem Campus. Holding 223 seats, the new auditorium is spacious, functional and equipped with cutting edge audio-visual equipment.

Hadassah new national president, Hadassah Medical Organization Board of Directors, managements of the two Hadassah hospitals, heads of departments, nurses and guests attended the opening event.

Prof. Benjamin Sachs, chairman of the department of OB-GYN in Beth Israel Deaconess medical center in Harvard, and the incoming Senior Vice President and Dean of Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, was the guest of honor. Hadassah gave tribute to Prof. Sachs' longtime activities in support of Israel and its scientific community, especially with regard to the efforts in the U.K to boycott Israeli academia.
