After arriving by public or private transportation, patients, visitors and staff will now access the Ein Kerem campus through a new entrance from the commercial center.
The entrance is located at the end of the second floor of the commercial center where escalators, stairs and an elevator transport people half a flight down to the expansive promenade that leads to the rotunda where the main Information Center is now located. There, informative signs, knowledgeable personnel and Hadassah's innovative technology such as a voice guidance computer, will guide people to passageways that lead to the Judy and Sidney Swartz Center for Emergency Medicine on one side and the main building on the other.
When the Sarah Wetsman Davidson Hospital Tower opens for patients in March 2012, this will become a secondary entrance, with the majority of people accessing the many buildings through the Davidson Tower’s main entrance.
The previous entrance – the temporary bridge – has been dismantled.
