A new, state-of-the-art neurosurgical microscope was recently installed in the operating rooms at Hadassah-Ein Kerem for the use of the Department of Neurosurgery. The microscope, equipped with the sophisticated optical capability and innovative software, further enables surgeons to perform complex operations on the brain and spinal cord. The microscope also has florescent indicators that provide surgeons with the ability to perform angiography (a medical imaging technique) during the surgery. These advanced features will significantly improve surgical success rates.
