House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, heading a delegation of Members of Congress, and accompanied by present and former US ambassadors to Israel,visited Hadassah Ein Kerem in Jerusalem, meeting with Hadassah, The Women's Zionist Organization of America, Hadassah Medical Organization Board Members and the General Manager of Hadassah, Prof. Shlomo Mor-Joseph.
During the visit noted the wide variety of people served by Hadassah, regardless of religion, race, gender or position, and observed Hadassah’s emergency preparedness.
Pelosi remarked, “The people of Hadassah constitute a bridge for peace,” at the end of her visit. “You treat everyone with the uniquely Jewish combination of excellent service and the highest scientific principles.”
