- Allergy Immunology and Rheumatology
The Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology clinic see patients with a variety of disorders related to the immune system. The Center provides complete allergy and immune testing. For children with chronic disorders, the Center provides treatment services including pharmacotherapy and immunomodulation.
- Breast Feeding and Eating Counseling
Breastfeeding has emotional advantages both for the mother and for the baby. It bestows a sense of security and tranquility upon the baby and strengthens the connection between the mother and the baby. Breastfeeding is both cheap and economical.
- Center for Neuropediatrics and Child Development
The Center for Neuropediatrics and Child Development diagnoses and treats children with muscular dystrophy, epilepsy, developmental disorders and other neurological diseases. The diagnostic services offered by the Center include muscle biopsies, electrophysiological studies, and psychological testing. The Center specializes in the treatment of children with complex neurological disorders.
- Center for Pediatric Ophthalmology
The staff of the Pediatric Ophthalmology unit treats all varieties of ocular diseases in children, and is leading the treatment of congenital cataract and other types of cataracts in childhood.
- Child Protection Service
The Child Protection Service investigates cases of suspected physical, sexual, and emotional abuse as well as child neglect.
- Endocrinology Clinic
The Endocrinology clinic cares for patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders. The Endocrinology Clinic is the largest center dedicated to the treatment of juvenile diabetes in Jerusalem, and has over a thousand patient visits per year. The clinic is staffed by physicians, diabetes care nurses, dietitians, psychologist, and social workers. The center offers a full-range of endocrine testing services, which include same-day ambulatory hospitalizations.
- Familial Dysautonomia Center
The Familial Dysautonomia Service is the Israel's Center for Familial Dysautonomia. It provides advice and care for children all over the country for this rare Ashkenazi Jewish disease. The Service is funded by a continuing grant from the Dysautonomia Foundation in New York.

The Metabolism Clinic cares for patients with inborn errors of metabolism.
- Neonatology
The Rosalie Goldberg Department of Neonatology provides care and treatment for more than 11,000 newborn infants born annually in Hadassah's hospitals. (Hadassah Ein Kerem, Hadassah Mount Scopus). In each hospital there are maternity wards that treat about 50 healthy babies. In Hadassah Ein Kerem the neonatal special care unit can provide care for up to 12-14 premature babies and neonates who need increased monitoring because they are underdeveloped or have mild problems. In Hadassah Mount Scopus the neonatal intensive care unit has 10 beds for premature and full term infants that need intensive care and monitoring for the extreme medical conditions. In addition, there are another 10 beds for premature babies that don't have such severe problems but still need monitoring.
- Outpatient Clinic Ein Kerem
In the Pediatric Outpatient Clinic in Ein Kerem we perform medical tests and provide treatment during the day, and in the afternoon the children return to their homes. There is a vast variety of diseases which can be treated in the outpatient clinic. Each child is treated by the specialized doctors compatible with his disease.
- Outpatient Clinic Mount Scopus - The Center for Children with Chronic Diseases
The outpatient clinic in the Mount Scopus Campus is The Center for Children with Chronic Diseases. In this unit there are a few centers for various diseases and medical problems. Among the centers: The centers for Cystic Fibrosis, Down Syndrome, Familial Dysautonomia, Metabolic Diseases, Diseases of the Digestive System, Endocrinology and Diabetes, ADHD, Nerve and Muscle Diseases, Epilepsy, Feeding and Growth Disorders and diagnosis of complicated syndromes.
- Pediatric Anesthesia and Sedation
In order for a test or a treatment to achieve optimal results, the child is asked to cooperate and stay completely still. These are difficult tasks, sometimes even impossible tasks for children, especially when the test or treatment might be somewhat painful. The sedation service and the anesthesia service are meant to help the child go through the procedure peacefully.
- Pediatric Cardiology
The Pediatric Cardiology Unit cares for children born with heart defects, and treats heart diseases which manifest during childhood. Also treats fetuses, newborns, children and adults with congenital heart defects or specific acquired heart diseases.

- Pediatric Emergency Services
The Pediatric Emergency Room at Mt. Scopus receives patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The emergency room is one of the most active in the Greater Jerusalem metropolitan area. The emergency room is staffed by resident physicians who are supervised by senior physicians. A wide-range of services is available to patients coming to the emergency room that include radiology, laboratory, and surgical consultation.
- Pediatric Gastroenterology Center
The Pediatric Gastroenterology Center offers complete diagnostic and treatment services to children with gastrointestinal disorders including endoscopy and special diagnostic procedures. The Center specializes in the care of patients with inflammatory bowel disease, celiac, and malabsorptive disorders.
- Pediatric Hematology Oncology
The department treats childhood leukemias as well as pediatric solid tumors. In addition, children with severe, chronic non-malignant hematological disorders (i.e., Thalassemia, aplastic anemia) and severe disorders of the immune system are cared for. The department is also in charge of pediatric bone marrow transplantations.
- Pediatric Intensive Care
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit consists of four beds. The Unit provides care for children of all ages with life-threatening illnesses. The Unit is under the direct supervision of Dr. Shoseyov who is a specialist in pediatric pulmonary diseases.
- Pediatric Neurosurgery
The Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery is located at the Mother and Child Center in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. The department is coordinating the management of children, who are candidates for brain and spinal cord surgery, including brain tumors, hydrocephalus, craniosynostosis, congenital defects, epilepsy surgery, vascular malformations, head injury, etc.- Pediatric Orthopedics
The unit treats medical conditions, such as fractures and various injuries in children's skeleton, birth defects of the skeletal system, bone and joint diseases (including tumors and inflammation - these diseases are treated in collaboration with other doctors in the department who specialize in these conditions). Common procedures are - repair of congenital dislocation of the hip (CDH), repair of clubfoot (a common birth defect in infants' feet), as well as limb elongation, equalization of limb length and repairing deformities following fracture, infection or inflammation.
- Pediatric Otolaryngology
Children with problems related to Otolaryngology are treated in Hadassah in the Pediatrics Department or the Pediatric Surgery Department and in the clinics by otolaryngology experts.
- Pediatric Pulmonology Clinic
The Pediatric Pulmonology Unit specializes in the treatment of pulmonary diseases such as asthma and pneumonia, and includes both in-patient and ambulatory care. The Center has a team-approach to patient care, and focuses both on the medical and psycho-social aspects of pulmonary disease.
- Pediatric Surgery
Pediatric surgeons in the Department of Pediatric Surgery, Hadassah University Hospital, perform corrective surgery for congenital anomalies of the abdominal wall, the gastrointestinal tract and intra-abdominal organs and the thorax: this in additional to removal of childhood tumors and other more routine procedures of pediatric surgery.
- Pediatric Urology
Birth defects of the urinary system are sometimes found in children. Some of these defects, especially those of the kidneys and urinary bladder, can be diagnosed prenatally. Urological diseases which are seen in adults (infections, Urolithiasis, Enuresis, Urinary Incontinence, etc.) may appear in children as well.

The Department of Pediatrics is part of the Division of Pediatrics. The department’s specialists offer treatment in all related pediatric professions.
- Pediatrics Mt. Scopus
The Department of Pediatrics at Mt. Scopus is the largest General Pediatric Department in Jerusalem. It provides children’s medical services to the greater metropolitan Jerusalem area. It is located at the Northeast part of Jerusalem and provides health care services to the surrounding neighborhoods.
