Invitation to the Gerry Schwartz and Heather Reisman 2nd International Congress on Chronic Disorders and Disabilities in Children

The congress will take place on the 3rd-4th December 2008 at the Regency Hotel in Jerusalem. Professor Eitan Kerem, Head Department of Pediatrics and the Center for Children with Chronic Diseases, at Hadassah Mount-Scopus will be the Chairman. All confirmed key-note speakers are specialists in disorders and disabilities in children: Ellis D. Avner, Haward C. Bauchner, Sally S. Cohen, Richard M. Katz, Robert M. Kliegman, John J. The Pediatric Division headed by Prof. David Branski, consists of the Department of Pediatrics located in Ein Kerem (Head, Prof. Dan Engelhard) and the Departments of Pediatrics (Head, Prof. Eitan Kerem) at Mt. Scopus and Neonatology at Mt. Scopus and Ein Kerem (Head, Dr. Beni Bar-Oz). All pediatric services are provided by the different subunits, namely, pediatric hemato-oncology, nephrology, cardiology, gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition, endocrinology, infectious diseases, neurology, neonatology, metabolic disorders and the pediatric intensive care unit. In addition to the clinical services offered, both clinical and basic research projects are carried out at both locations.
